Comment :
Sikandar Lodi (1489–1517), the second ruler of the Lodi dynasty, played a significant role in consolidating and expanding the Delhi Sultanate. Sikandar Lodi successfully extended his territory, capturing Bihar and parts of Bengal. He shifted the capital from Delhi to Agra in 1504, making Agra a significant cultural and administrative hub. He was succeeded by his son Ibrahim Lodi, whose defeat at the Battle of Panipat in 1526 led to the fall of the Lodi dynasty and the rise of the Mughal Empire.
