Comment :
Kushano-Sassanian dynasty, which emerged as a hybrid empire combining elements of the Kushan and Sassanian traditions. These rulers governed parts of the northwestern Indian subcontinent (modern-day Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northern India) during the 3rd to 4th centuries CE. Kushano-Sasanians were Sasanian governors, who established a quasi-autonomous reign in the old Kushan provinces of Bactria, Sogdiana and Gandhara. Their iconography combines traditional Sasanian elements with deities such as Shiva from the Hindu Pantheon, Rare.
