Indo Greeks

Indo-Greek Kingdoms: Following the fragmentation of the Seleucid Empire and the Greek conquests in Asia under Alexander the Great, the Indo-Greek kings emerged as rulers in the northwestern Indian subcontinent. These kingdoms were a result of the Hellenistic expansion into India and the subsequent establishment of Greek rulers in regions such as Bactria (modern-day Afghanistan) and parts of northern India.
