Comment :
Nasir-ud-Din Haider (1803–1837) was the second King of Awadh (Oudh), a princely state in northern India during the early 19th century. Known for his controversial and colorful reign, he ruled from 1827 to 1837. Nasir-ud-Din Haider became king after the death of his father, Ghazi-ud-Din Haider, in 1827. Nasir-ud-Din Haider died under mysterious circumstances on July 7, 1837, at the young age of 34. Many believed he was poisoned, as his sudden death triggered a power struggle within the Awadh court.
