Comment :
Azam Shah reigned from 1389 to 1410. He succeeded his father, Sultan Sikandar Shah, and became a noteworthy ruler of Bengal. He maintained diplomatic relations with the Ming dynasty of China. Historical records, including inscriptions and Chinese chronicles, reference the exchange of envoys and gifts between Bengal and China during his reign.
Arsah Satgaon: "Arsah" is often interpreted as a term meaning "district" or "region," suggesting that the mint was located in the Satgaon district or was a subordinate administrative area under its jurisdiction.
