Historical records, including inscriptions and Chinese chronicles, reference the exchange of envoys and gifts between Bengal and China during his reign.
Firozabad Mint : The city was founded by Sultan Shamsuddin Firoz Shah (1301–1322), one of the early rulers of the Bengal Sultanate. It was named after him and became a prominent hub in Bengal.
