Comment :
During Humayun's reign (1530–1540, 1555–1556), Agra served as one of the prominent centers of administration and coin minting for the Mughal Empire. Humayun, the second Mughal emperor, issued coins that reflected both his imperial authority and the transitional phase of Mughal numismatics, influenced by Timurid traditions and local Indian styles. Shahrukhi is the best example of such tradition. Rare.
