Comment :
Dar-al-Islam first makes its appearence as a mint in AH 702, in the following year allaudin moved his capital to new Delhi at siri, a few miles north of the old city. there was a college in old Delhi named Dar-al-Islam and it is possible that a mint was set up there when the capital moved. It is also possible that Dar-al-Islam refers to Ranthambhor, which was captured in AH 700 and apparently called by that name. Scarce.
