Comment :
This symbol arrangement is unpublished in W. Pieper. Particularly the Kausambi region had a prolific cast copper coinage. Mitchiner classified the rectangular Elephant Multis ymbol Type Cast Copper coins with Indradhvaja left of the elephant as Mauryan issues and specimens with Indradhvaja beneath the elephant as Sunga issues. Excavation results and finds concentration show that some EUCCCs appear to be local issues of late Mauryan/ early Sunga period.
