Comment :
This series of coins from Kausambi depict an elephant on the obverse and a railed tree on the reverse. Obviously, inspired by Mauryan prototypes, there are square and round elephant cast types depicting the elephant with symbols such as a Indradhvaja, a six-armed symbol, multiple taurines, and a railed tree associated with the hollow-cross-and-hill symbol with taurines on the reverse.
Very Fine, Rare.
