Panchala is one of the oldest janapadas of ancient India. Located in present-day Uttar Pradesh,
its territory stretched from the Himalayas to the river Chambal.
This coin type is very rare. Stephen Album rates it RR and has listed one specimen
in its upcoming Sale 21 (Lot 1078) with an estimated price of $100-140.
